Originating from Chile's Elqui Valley, this wine offers vibrant red fruit aromas like raspberries and sour cherries, balanced with earthy notes and a refreshing acidity. Perfect for elegant occasions, it pairs well with a variety of dishes, showcasing silky tannins and a smooth, fruity finish.

This exquisite wine, sourced from the Maipo Valley, boasts an intense cherry colour with violet hues, a testament to the grapes' ripeness and health.

The 2021 season in the Maipo Valley was remarkable for its higher humidity, which provided the vineyards with optimal growing conditions. This reduced stress on the vines, allowing the grapes to develop exceptional aromas, skins, and tannins. The ripening process was slower than in previous years, ensuring the grapes reached their full potential.

Crafted with meticulous care, Merlot 2021 underwent cold maceration for 3 days to extract the maximum aromas and flavours. The alcoholic fermentation took place with selected yeasts at controlled temperatures between 27°C and 28°C. Three gentle pump-overs were carried out each day to ensure the skins remained in contact with the juice, allowing for a slow, delicate extraction.

Finally, the wine aged for 12 months in 300-litre French oak barrels, imparting a subtle complexity and elegance. The oak ageing complements the wine's natural fruitiness, creating a harmonious blend of flavours.

Merlot 2021 is a wine that invites you to savour its rich flavours and aromas. With its balanced structure, velvety tannins, and lingering finish, it is a perfect companion for a variety of dishes, from grilled meats to roasted vegetables.
